The agreement
Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Oliveo website, mobile application, and related meal-planning services. They are written to make the product’s limits—especially prices, availability, nutrition, and allergens—clear.
Last updated: 30 July 2026
1. Who these Terms are with
These Terms are an agreement between you and Nik Senekovič, a sole proprietor based in Slovenia, European Union (“Oliveo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using Oliveo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Oliveo provides
Oliveo is a meal-planning service designed to:
- Create 5- or 7-lunch weekly plans.
- Organise recipes around your selected store, household, budget, cooking time, diet, allergies, kitchen, and weekly preferences.
- Combine ingredients into one pack-aware shopping list and show a checkout estimate.
The Service is for personal planning and organisational purposes. It is not medical, dietary, financial, or professional advice.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to use Oliveo. If an account is required, you agree to provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Personal, permitted use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Oliveo for non-commercial purposes and in line with these Terms and the applicable app-store rules.
You must not:
- Copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service.
- Reverse engineer, extract source code, or bypass access controls, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use automated systems to overload, scrape, probe, or interfere with the Service.
- Circumvent subscription requirements, share paid access improperly, or use Oliveo for unlawful or harmful purposes.
5. Meal plans, allergies, and nutrition
You are responsible for the final check. Oliveo cannot guarantee nutritional accuracy, medical suitability, allergen safety, dietary compliance, or that a recipe fits every individual in your household. Always review the recipe, product label, warnings, and ingredient list before buying, preparing, or eating food.
Meal plans and recommendations may be generated or assisted by automated systems. Do not use Oliveo as a substitute for a doctor, registered dietitian, allergist, or other qualified professional. If an allergy or health condition could create serious risk, obtain appropriate professional advice and independently verify every ingredient.
6. Store products, prices, and availability
Oliveo aims to anchor plans to products, pack sizes, and prices from the store you select. Retail information can change without notice, differ by branch or region, be delayed, or contain errors.
- A displayed total is an estimate, not a guarantee of the amount charged at checkout.
- Product availability, promotions, substitutions, taxes, deposits, and loyalty pricing may differ in store or online.
- “Within budget” means the current Oliveo estimate is at or below the budget you entered. It is not a promise of financial savings.
The retailer’s shelf, checkout, receipt, product label, terms, and policies control the actual purchase.
7. Third-party services
Oliveo may interact with retailers, mobile app stores, payment and subscription providers, analytics and crash services, hosting providers, and AI-processing services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party products, stock, prices, websites, outages, policies, or terms. Your use of those services may be governed by separate agreements.
8. Subscriptions, trials, and cancellation
Some features require an active paid subscription. The exact product, price, billing period, trial eligibility, and renewal terms shown in Apple App Store or Google Play at purchase are the terms of your transaction.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the relevant app store before the renewal deadline shown there.
- If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- Deleting Oliveo does not cancel an active subscription. Manage or cancel it in your Apple or Google account.
- Refunds, billing disputes, taxes, and withdrawal rights are handled under the applicable store terms and mandatory consumer law.
Access to paid features may end if a subscription expires, payment fails, or the account is suspended for violating these Terms.
9. Your content and instructions
You retain ownership of information and instructions you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. Do not submit content you are not authorised to use or that is unlawful.
10. Our intellectual property
Oliveo’s software, brand, interface, original content, databases, designs, and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to us. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Oliveo reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may update, repair, modify, limit, or discontinue parts of the Service. Where a material change affects a paid service, we will provide notice or remedies required by applicable consumer law.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Oliveo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create security or legal risk, or where law requires it. Where reasonable and legally permitted, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
13. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Oliveo is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that plans, recipes, retailer data, prices, availability, totals, or recommendations will always be complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or remedies that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or opportunity, retailer price or availability differences, or outcomes caused by relying on an unverified meal recommendation. Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights and liability for intent or gross negligence where applicable.
15. App-store terms
If you download Oliveo from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a valid custom EULA is shown. Apple is not responsible for Oliveo’s support, maintenance, or product claims.
If you download Oliveo from Google Play, your use of Google Play, billing, and app access is also subject to the applicable Google Play Terms of Service.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia and applicable European Union law. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Slovenia. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of mandatory protections or the right to bring proceedings available under the law of your country of residence.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice where a material change affects your rights. Continued use after the effective date means the updated Terms apply, subject to mandatory consumer law.
